    Going Back To Minion

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times
    Fit:
    True to size

I ran the older version on my 26" years ago and figured I'd give these a shot. I will be going back to Minions ASAP- Tested on Santa Cruz Bronson V3-In tight techy New England trails- Soft Tanwall version 2.6". Front 20psi/Rear 22psi w Cushcore rear only. Dry/Loose condish, they are just ok. The soft 2.6" feels a little drifty at speed. Also, even at 18-20 psi as soon as things get rowdy, they bounce and skid around. In wet conditions they are absolutely terrifying unless you hit wet roots perpendicular, you will slide sideways like on ice skates. Does not inspire confidence. I thought the soft compound would hook up better on rocks but NOPE. The Tan Walls do look sick though. Like I said, I will be going back to the Minion DHR and DHF- 2.6 -3C/EXO+/TR.

    Pisgah Tested

Driftin, grippin, rippin, and dancin rubber! If they last- I’ve found the perfect tire for the types of terrain I ride the most. Wet, muddy, steep, and technical single track.

How well do these work with 35mm internal width wheels?

The ideal tire width for 35m ID is 2.6 to 3.0 so these tires should work great for that wheel.
