The Real Deal
Take a closer look a Santini’s officially licensed commemorative jerseys.
Over more than 80 years, Vuelta a España has grown to become one of the most highly esteemed races in professional cycling, bringing the sport's brightest stars on a tour of Spain's historic cities, breathtaking countryside, and rugged mountain passes. For this year's edition, Santini is supplying leader’s jerseys and has made official replicas available to the public in very limited quantities. There are also a few which commemorate the race's most iconic places. Built around Santini's Body Fit material, with a race worthy fit, these are exceptional pieces that will be appreciated by true fans of La Vuelta.
Donned each day by the leader of each classification, these jerseys are faithful reproductions of those awarded to the stars of this year's edition. The Red jersey denotes the leader of General time classification, while the Green Jersey is worn by the leader of the Sprinter classification, the White Jersey is donned by the leader of the Combined classification, and the Polka Dot Jersey announces the King of the Mountains.
Kilometro Cero Jersey
Designed in honor of Puerta Del Sol, one of Madrid's most famous squares and the center of the Spain's road network, the "KM Cero" jersey is a fitting nod to the historic roads which make La Vuelta a global icon.
With a visual nod to the striped shirts frequently worn by Malaga-born Pablo Picasso, the Malaga jersey is a striking ode to the famous port city.
La Huesera Jersey
"The Boneyard", the infamously brutal segment of the Lagos de Covadonga climb, inspired the pattern of this jersey, which is suggestive of the struggles faced by those striving to maintain a gap on this infamous section of the race.
With colors that evoke the Basque Country flag, this jersey celebrates both the cultural richness and the stunning views of the Pyrenees on display during the Basque portion of La Vuelta.
