Why We Like The SuperClamp EX 2 Bike Hitch Rack
The SuperClamp EX 2 rack makes getting to the trailhead simpler, so we can spend more time riding and less time maneuvering bikes into cars. The compact design carries two bikes on a single bar without making contact with our carbon frame. Though lightweight on its own, the SuperClamp can support up to 60lbs per bike, so we can haul anything from the lightest carbon hardtail to a full-suspension ebike.

One of the best racks available
Can't believe this holds 60lb bikes for how light it is! Super versatile and easy to adjust. Love this rack.

Great easy to use bike rack
We purchased this rack, for 2 bikes, after borrowing the one that holds 4 bikes. Its perfect for my wife and I. Simple to install on the car. Not too heavy. Not too light. Solid construction. Its easy to mount the bikes on and secure them to the rack. the initial adjustments were also very easy. Now we are ready for whatever bike adventures we want. Looking at the price. It seams reasonable compared to other racks we similar features.

Good bike rack
This is a good bike rack but it would be great if the holding arms laid out more flat for easier loading or so it would be possible to use a loading ramp. As a smaller woman, Im unable to lift my bike high enough by myself to get it over the clamp arms.

wobble
Works fine but would have been better if I'd an idea that a stabilizer might be a good add-on. First trip without that was a little nerve racking.

Upgrading my Bike Rack
I had a desire to upgrade my rack this fit my wants (platform v hang, integrated security, low profile that doesn't block visibility of license plate & camera). I haven't owned a whole lot of bike racks but the price was higher than comparable models, but I chose Saris model because of my past purchase history with Saris. I wanted to have a rack that didn't block my rear-facing camera when not in use and also wanted no frame touch. I have a small sports car so the low profile works great for me, but also this rack looks right at home on a larger SUV. This model doesn't have tilt-away but I didn't need it. I know that the integrated lock is ONLY meant as a deterrent and not for major security, but my complaint is that its difficult to "secure" the wheels and the frame at the same time because cable is 6in too short. Otherwise I think this rack checks all of the boxes

Not as good as I expected
Tilt assembly is not sturdy. At the beginning i received with the handle broken once replaced by Saris I used it only once on a 500 miles trip and the metal shows some dents in transport position. Good thing is that Saris provides good support and lifetime warranty

Best out there
I do not usually write reviews about anything but I appreciate what other people say. I did a lot of research on every bike rack out there and this by far is the best there is. 10 minutes out of the box and it is on your vehicle. Easy to set up easy to put bikes on. There are some carries you need to be careful with if your bike or bikes have fenders. This takes every bike every size and holds them solid with two attachments to the wheels instead of one like most others. And it does not weigh 50 lbs so taking on and off is easy. Folds up nice and tight to the vehicle and is out of the way of your trunk. It truly has all the good features of all the other carriers combined.

Simple and Secure
Everything about this rack is nice, two bikes are very secure, they’re easy to put on, my hatch opens with bikes on, the locks work nicely, and it doesn’t rattle…what more could you ask for?

Great Bike Rack Option!
Now that the kids are grown, and on their own, my wife and I aren’t as satisfied with just puttering around town on our same old routes. After spending about a month shopping around the different options for our 2016 Honda CRV, we chose the super clamp. EX. SOOOOOO Happy we did! With one year under our belt, here is my take on this rack. Solid construction. Solid welding. Durable and high-quality non-metallic parts. For us being in the 55 to 65 age group, I can mount and unmount it myself; my wife, with sciatica knee issues usually requires a second hand. Once we sized everything for our bikes, and once clamped in, they aren’t going anywhere that our Honda isn’t! Had to get used to a little bit of a slight “wag“ - especially at higher speeds, and during cornering. My mechanically inclined engineer type, friends say this would be normal to no problem. I’ve also noticed that is a lot more stable than other rigs we see using hitch mounts when we’re out on the road. With the bikes naked, there is sufficient exposure of our brake and turn signals to rear traffic. If we’re using our inclement weather black covers for the bike, traffic to our rear still has excellent view of our warning lights. In hindsight, me being a safety guy, I wish I would have bought the added, turn signal and brake light add-on just for that extra 10% over 100% confidence. Easy to get the bikes on and off the rack. The tilt option is great for accessing the vehicles way back section. Both my wife and I can operate this by ourselves with no trouble. When doing so on the road, we received more than a fair share of (dare I say, envious?) looks from other bikers using different rack systems. For being painted metal, it held up well to bumps and scrapes, either during tilting operations, loading, and unloading, etc. As a precaution, I will do a little sand, prime and paint, which I will chalk up to very minor, ongoing maintenance. With SPRING upon us, I’ve already seen how well it will store in my garage and sheds. I even had limited room this winter due to an ongoing fix up project… The rack still was very easy to store out of the way during nonuse season. If you’re looking for a two bike rack hitch mount option, we cannot recommend a better unit.
