VPP suspension and mullet wheels send the Nomad C MX 70 Mountain Bike deeper into enduro lines
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Nomad C MX 70 is everything you want in an aggressive enduro build—super plush suspension, strong alloy wheels, and SRAM’s new T-Type drivetrain that’s proven to stay crisp under load. I wouldn’t hesitate to throw this into an enduro race or just lap the park all day."
Competitive Cyclist Romantic Technical Copy
The Nomad C MX 70 is a true gravity rig with the climbing manners of a trail bike and the descending confidence of a DH sled. This latest generation frame runs 170mm of rear travel via Santa Cruz’s updated VPP™ platform, paired with a RockShox Zeb fork for 170mm up front. The geometry and suspension feel tuned for park hits, backcountry descents, and steep shuttle laps with a geometry that’s long, slack, and confidence-boosting. A mixed wheel setup keeps the front end planted through high-speed chunk while keeping the rear agile and flickable when lines get tight.
The FOX Float X Performance rear shock offers high-volume support with improved damping and bottom-out resistance, keeping you in control on rough landings and square-edge impacts. SRAM’s 70-series DUB crankset with a 32t ring and T-Type Eagle drivetrain deliver clean, powerful engagement under pressure, and the 10–52t cassette gives you a wide range for steep climbs or fast transitions. The SRAM DB8 brakes with Centerline 200mm rotors keep braking consistent on long descents.
This build is finished off with Reserve alloy wheels—30|TR up front and 30|HD out back—for a balance of compliance and strength. Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR II tires with Double Down rear casing and EXO+ up front give unmatched traction and protection. From steep alpine chutes to bike park booters, the Nomad C MX 70 is ready for gravity-driven adventure.
