Santa Cruz is probably best known for its top-tier, trail shredding, full carbon mountain sleds that enjoy dream-bike status in many a rider's heart. What you may not know is that the company is now exporting its expertise in carbon layup to the component side of the spectrum, including the Santa Cruz Carbon 800 Riser Bar.
Built to withstand the abuse of gravity but with the lighter weight of an all-mountain bar, the 800 is a stellar addition to any hard riding whip. It provides excellent stiffness for snappy control while soaking up vibrations to reduce fatigue so you can confidently navigate the most technical runs. As an added touch, stealthy logos make for clean lines and classy look while offering a hint of Santa Cruz status to fellow trail goers.
Please note that the Santa Cruz Carbon 800 Riser Bar has a maximum clamp width of 60mm, which is not compatible with most direct-mount stems.
- Santa Cruz brings their carbon expertise to handlebars
- Delivers DH-level strength at an all-mountain weight
- Tuned stiffness keeps vibration in check and minimizes fatigue
- 20mm rise, 9-degree sweep for a nice neutral feel
- Markers take the pain out of lining up your setup
- Stealth branding offers a classy look

Awesome bar
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I wish it came in a little narrower, but its easy enough to cut and its an awesome bar other wise.
Seriously underrated

OE branded components typically get a bad reputation, which is a shame, because Santa Cruz's carbon bars are genuinely better than most aftermarket options. Unlike many (most?) 35mm carbon bars, they've got a finely tuned flex that's comfortable, without feeling noodley. The 800mm width and 20mm rise are both sensible figures that allow these bars to work for a fairly wide range of riders and bikes. After years of riding Renthals, I've grown accustomed to a bar with a bit less sweep (I prefer the shape of the ENVE M7 bar, all things being equal), but nevertheless I've been really happy with these.
Great 35mm Bar

This bar is great. It seems to have a bit more dampening than other 35mm bars I have ridden in the past, which is an added bonus. Very stiff, but not to the point that you can't hold on in rough sections. Killer add to any bike!
