The Santa Cruz Blur is one of our favorite bikes for weekend singletrack rides and cross-country races. The Blur features an extremely lightweight frame, a cross-country-focused design, and an efficient Superlight suspension platform, positioning itself as the go-to XC race bike in Santa Cruz's lineup. Santa Cruz's Superlight suspension replaces their VPP suspension for a lighter, more efficient platform—specifically engineered for the Blur—turning every ounce of energy put into the pedals into forward momentum. 107mm of Superlight suspension rockets up climbs, rides high in its travel, and carries our speed efficiently through rock gardens. An agile 68.3-degree head tube angle gives us precise handling while remaining capable enough to take on the ever-evolving XC courses. Size-specific seat tube angles and chainstays ensure a balanced and agile bike for all frame sizes while ensuring the most efficient pedaling position to get us up technical climbs in a breeze. For the finishing touches, the Blur features tidy internal cable routing, downtube and chainstay protection, and the capability to take along three water bottles.

The X0 Transmission AXS Reserve build of the Santa Cruz Blur is loaded with premium components fit for any racer. First, Santa Cruz's Carbon CC frame offers the highest quality carbon layup and is made to the strictest standards to provide a frame capable of landing us on the podium. SRAM's XO Eagle AXS Transmission Drivetrain takes our shifting game to the next level, delivering precise shifting under load, a durable design, and an eye-catching design. The RockShox SID SL Ultimate fork helps to save weight, is super adjustable, and has a 3-position remote, allowing us to effortlessly toggle between the open pedal and climbing modes on the fly. Reserve carbon XC 28 rims and Industry Nine 1/1 hubs pair together to give us a top-notch wheelset that will turn heads as we pass by. A Fox Factory Transfer SL dropper post is lightweight and has super smooth actuation, and Maxxis Aspen tires give us fast-rolling and light tires without sacrificing the grip we need to compete.
