Blur Carbon CC XX1 AXS Trail Reserve Mountain Bike - 2022

Made for sprinting through the ups and smashing every descent in our way the Santa Cruz Blur Carbon CC XX1 Eagle AXS Trail Reserve Mountain Bike is the ultimate trail and cross-country machine. This addition to our quiver is quickly becoming the only machine in our arsenal and further disproving the N+1 rule every time we ride it. The Trail version of the Blur comes standard with more suspension in the front and rear of the bike. The extra squish makes our old cross-country loops feel easy and new trail not as intimidating.

The Trail version of the Blur comes equipped with a specially machined rear yoke to allow for 15mm more suspension travel. This yoke gives us a more playful bike and one that's set up especially well to get us through the most technical parts of our cross country events and ride. The trail version gets a standard slacked out 67.1-degree head tube angle and a relatively long 1157mm wheelbase in a size medium. The seat-tube angle is also specced at an appropriate 75.1-degree angle to allow for a very efficient pedaling position. Overall the Blur is specced with geometry to get us up the mountain as fast as any dedicated cross-country bike and down the mountain even faster.

The XX1 version of the Santa Cruz Blur Trail edition is as specced' and blinged-out as an absolute top-of-the-line bike deserves. The bike includes wireless electronic shifting, a wireless dropper, and carbon wheels to max out the speed and fuss-free fun. SRAM takes care of drivetrain duties with its ultra-light and performance-focused XX1 AXS drivetrain. The drivetrain uses long-lasting batteries and an app-based adjustment system to make every shift as perfect as the one before it. The infinite adjustment RockShox Reverb AXS seatpost features a closed system and wireless actuation meaning that the post works every time for a lifetime.

Santa Cruz provides the near-indestructible Reserve Carbon hoops with the trail version of the Blur. The 28mm internal width on these rims is perfectly tuned to fit the max size 2.4in rubber we'll be burning in on the bike. We're utilizing the carbon finishing components provided by Santa Cruz and hitting new trail faster and with more confidence than ever. The Carbon CC frame from Santa Cruz offers the stiffest carbon layup with lightweight performance as its focus point. We're rallying our Blur off-road every chance we get and getting used to the crisp whir of eletronic shifting and dropper actuation.
