Put a mean Lip Lock on ‘er.

Some may like the Salsa Lip Lock Seat Clamp for its flashy colors and sleek style. We like it because it's strong, light, and with the stainless steel pivot nut, the clamp will have a hard time pinching thinwall or carbon seat posts. The Salsa Lip-Lock comes in an array of colors so you can match your steed up nicely for on-point style.

  • Bright seat clamp for boosting your steed style
  • Stainless steel pivot nut for smooth and precise adjustments
  • An array of sizes fit just about any seat collar
  • Locking setup prevents seatposts from being snagged

Fixed stock collar

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Seat would slide even with the anti slide stuff. Put this on, torqued to the correct amount and bingo, seat stays where it is supposed to..

Seat Collar Flash

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

What a streamline seatpost collar. Clean, well engineered. I wanted a minimalist design with a specific shade of Purple. This one won comparing it to Chromag, Wolf Tooth, and Hope.

it's the details

The Lip Lock has a relatively simple job and it performs that job extremely well. I've had them on my bikes in the past and have them on both of my bikes now.

Salsa lip lock bike seatpost

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These things are far superior to the standard
Bike seatpost clamp . I got 2 of em one black
And the other green

Classic and still cool

I've mounted these on my bikes over the years and think they are well designed and will last forever. Really well made and easy on the eyes.

Are these anti-theft ? If so how ?

    Hi Harry,

These are "anti-theft" in that they would require an Allen wrench to undo as opposed to the old-school quick release mechanism. I would not rely on this to keep your saddle from being stolen.

    Salsa bits rock

Like their famous skewers, these Salsa clamps are not only super well designed and durable but super blingy!!!
I own several and they are of a quality on par with Thomson clamps.

What size clamp should I buy for a 30.6 seatpost?

    Great, purchased two

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The style and colors offerings on this clamp is great. They work perfectly as I've not had a slipped post at the recommended torque. After being satisfied with one, I purchased another for a second bike. Great product at reasonable price.

The Salsa Lip-Lock is the best!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was experiencing a lot of slip with my stock QR collar. This solved the problem! I researched this part exhaustively. IMHO, this is the best MTB seatpost collar made -period. (Only the Thompson collar comes close.) In fact, I have been so happy with this seat collar, I consider it a reference quality part like the Thompson Elite seatpost (or stem), Shimano hydraulic disk brakes (or the Shimano hollowtech cranksets), the Rockshox Reverb dropper post, the new Rockshox Pike fork, WTB saddles, and the Light & Motion "Taz" and "Seca" MTB lights.

Made from 7075 series aluminum, CNC machined, and designed by Salsa in the USA... the design of this clamp is ingenious. The SS bolt into internal pivot (nut) design of this clamp sets it apart. The unique design reduces stress on the pinch bolt and fatigue. The pivoting stainless steel threaded insert is like a 1000 times more reliable than threaded aluminum. So, this design creates a STRONG clamp. Your seatpost will not move! BTW, Salsa is a great company and the clamp comes in creative enviro-friendly packaging. Great VALUE.

Buy one for every bike you have!

    Works and Looks Great!

It does what it supposed to do. Plus it's got that Bling thing going on. And all at the right price.

Hello, if my seat tube, not seat post (...

Hello, if my seat tube, not seat post ( 2008 Cervelo R3SL ) measures 30.0 mm what size clamp do I need? Thanks, Dave

I love these clamps! The colors are great! The clamp functions as intended. TIghten her up and forget about it; your seatpost aint goin nowhere?

I use these seat clamps on 4 different bikes

Use these on every bike I own, and so does pretty much everyone else I know. They lock down tight, and you never have to think about it again. Which is all you really want from a seatpost clamp.

The quick release clamp that came on my bike wouldn't hold when I was riding the trails. This one hasn't budged since I put it on. Great product.
