Salomon Snowboards on Competitive Cyclist
About Salomon Snowboards
it's rumored that a large wheel of cheese and a few bottles of wine (with a combined age of 300 years) is all it took for the young descendants of the great founding Salomon (the dude) to convince the company to use its expertise in steel, wood, fiberglass, and plastic assembly to make what the next generation wants - quality snowboards (and the boots and bindings needed to stay attached) from one of the top ski makers in the world. And so the tradition of snow-fection continues, except these days lederhosen has been replaced with skinny pants and camber has morphed into a host of different mustache-inspired rocker combinations. This is the age of Aquarius - city streets are just as shredable as cirques, big lines and park laps can happen in the same day, and chicks who rip make the crew a lot cooler - this is Salomon Snowboards.
