2INPower Powermeter Direct Mount Crankset

Putting a power meter on your bike is the absolute best way to track data on rides and train with better specificity as well as allowing you to take advantage of smart trainers and utilizing apps and programs. Of course, there's also the metrics available on race day so you don't let the adrenaline or competition take you out of the zones you know you're capable of maintaining. If you're ready to bite the bullet and get a powermeter, we suggest you have a look at the 2INPower Powermeter Direct Mount Crank Arms from Rotor to take care of your needs and open up a whole new world of bike riding with power numbers at your disposal.

Rotor's 2INpower calculates power by getting readings from both legs, four gauges in the spindle and four in the right arm, versus the approach of the INpower model, only using four gauges in the spindle and doubling the effort. The two legged approach is more accurate and provides even more detail such as leg efficiency and pedal stroke balance. The direct-mount technology provides a spline interface for mounting the firm's round or oval chainrings which provides excellent stiffness and easy clocking of the oval rings to suit your pedaling needs.

The 2INpower's eight strain gauges pair with an accelerometer to read cadence and calculate power by sampling these numbers at over 500 times per pedal stroke and it provides valuable data especially when setting up the Q Rings. Applications such as Torque 360 and Optimum Chainring Angle (OCA) help to provide a recommendation of your Optimal Chainring Position (OCP) for the most efficient Q-Ring orientation.

The 2INpower transmits data via Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ protocols, so most likely your head unit you're currently running is good to go. The 2INpower has a 30mm spindle and Rotor provides bottom brackets that are compatible with English and Italian threaded, BB86, BBRight, BB386EVO, BB30 and PF30 bottom bracket shells. The unit's 250-hour ride time relies on a rechargeable Li-ion battery with a USB cable so re-upping is never an issue. Rotor also provides a seamless data upload and management interface by partnering with TrainingPeaks.
