Get your remote sorted first

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are great, they remove the fuss of internal cable routing and make for a very quick install and easy to fine tune seat post height, or replace with regular seat post if you want to lighten up for certain ride. The dropper function is great, fast and crisp down and return with the ability to fine tune at any set point in its travel. The big issue is if you have a drop bar bike and don't have the AXS front shifter, you are going to have issues finding the right remote. The MTB AXS remote won't fit on your drop bar and you'll need to purchase a wolf tooth shift mount for a 31.8 bar to use as an adapter. Summary - if you don't have the AXS front shifter to connect to the dropper for control, your budget is going to go way up after you buy the remote and adapter so think this through carefully. It may be worth just finding an AXS front shifter, but then you have to re-run your brake lines and bleed, which cancels out the advantage of not messing with internal dropper routing. Otherwise the post is great but spendy and the value will come in how high your disdain is for messing with internally routed droppers.
