Welcome to the Boost era.
Not long ago, frame manufacturers were warning us that Boost axle-equipped bikes should only be bought as complete builds, not frames, because of a paucity of Boost components on the market. Those days are behind us, and the RockShox Pike RCT3 Solo Air 120 Boost Fork for 29ers and 27.5+ wheels ushers in the new era of increased stiffness and tracking that the oversized axles bring to a trail bike. The Power Bulge feature involves a reinforced lower leg and oversized bushing, which further increases stiffness without increasing stanchion size.
The Pike's Solo Air shock remains the same, and it's paired with the three-position RCT3 charger for damper adjustability. RCT3 lets you choose discreet amounts of lockout for big hits and fast roll-overs, rock gardens and root lattices, or locked-out speed for climbing and sprinting. While riding the fork open, the Rapid Recovery feature indulges the Pike's terrain-gobbling tendencies by keeping recovery short between hits, so you'll always have that cushion, even through successive bumps.

Can I fit a 29+ wheel in there?
With the Boost spacing, this Pike RCT3 fork will accommodate a 29+ wheel with the 15 x 110 mm Boost hub and tire like the Maxxis Chronicle EXO/TR Tires, 29 x 3.0. Feel free to shoot me any additional questions directly.
