Conquer the steepest, most technical lines.

The RockShox Lyrik RC2 DebonAir 150 Boost 27.5in Fork takes all-mountain riding and enduro racing to entirely new realms with its stiff-tracking demeanor and high levels of adjustability. The Lyrik RC2 delivers precise tracking with its stout 35-millimeter stanchions preventing torsional deflection when you're smashing across boulders and roots at high speeds. Beefed up over its Pike sibling with thicker stanchion walls, the Lyrik is RockShox's premiere fork for aggressive styles of all-mountain riding and enduro racing. This particular Lyrik RC2 is revised for 2018 with a DebonAir spring and Charger RC2 damper improving its overall suppleness and traction, as well as giving discerning riders the ability to independently adjust the low and high-speed compression to their exact needs.

As the go-to choice in RockShox's line for longer travel applications and aggressive riding styles, the Lyrik is the stiffest fork this side of a dual-crown Boxxer used exclusively on downhill bikes. The secret to its rock-solid feel lies in 35-millimeter stanchions with thicker walls versus what you'd find with a Pike, meaning it tracks more precisely when you're thrashing the living hell out of this fork on downhills with intimidating drops and huge rocks.

The new Charger RC2 damper gives you heightened adjustability over the RCT3 Charger 2 damper found on standard Lyriks, providing the ability to independently fine-tune the high and low-speed compression settings of the fork. You'll find 20 clicks of low-speed compression tuning, alongside 5 clicks of high-speed compression tuning. Also, there's an external rebound adjust to get everything dialed to your individual needs.

Another brand new addition, the DebonAir spring is borrowed from RockShox's Deluxe and Super Deluxe rear shocks. This technology increases the negative air spring volume of the fork, lending higher levels of suppleness off-the-top, which in turn makes it all the more sensitive to bumps and small imperfections in terrain. This DebonAir spring also increases its mid-stroke support to prevent you from blowing through excess travel.

Since it's made exclusively for the newest Boost axle standards, the Lyrik now clears tires up to 2.8 inches, so you can clear wide trail and small plus-sized tires. Additionally, it's compatible with RockShox's Torque Cap for gaining stiffness and precise tracking (Torque Cap is sold separately), plus it works with a OneLoc remote (not included) for handlebar-activated control at your fingers, which is helpful during racing scenarios.

  • RockShox's stiffest enduro and all-mountain fork
  • 35mm stanchions with thicker walls for stiff, precise tracking
  • Charger RC2 damper with low and high-speed compression tuning
  • DebonAir spring enhances bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support
  • Torque Cap compatible for extra stiffness (not included)
  • Boost 110mm axle spacing clears 27.5 x 2.8in tires
  • OneLoc handlebar remote compatible (not included)

Leaking and HSC Issues (3 rides)

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Do NOT buy this fork. I'm unfortunately stuck with it because it didn't get a chance to test it within 30 days (had it 6 wks [sad face]). After riding 3 times (twice XC trails and once at a DH park), the fork was leaking, both air and fluid, and the High Speed Compression Knob will not increase past 4 clicks (4th click is very difficult).
Do a search for 'Rockshox Lyrik leaks' and you'll find others with the same problem. I'm very unhappy with this fork; instead buy a Fox 36 .
There appears to be a SRAM 4-wk repair turnaround time, which is an indicator of how much of a problem this is. I suspect that a lot people are facing the same problem. A fork rebuild usually takes PUSH less than 5 days.
