We love this stuff. We use Rock n' Roll Super Web grease to pack ceramic bearings in all our retrofits. And we're not the only ones who love it. Bearing manufacturer Enduro has an affinity to the Super-Web, as do many component manufacturers, including: Hugi, Race Face, Cane Creek, American Classic, and White industries. When you get new components from them, the white grease in with the bearings is the RnR Super-Web.

The stuff is sticky and runny at the same time. By sticky, we mean that it sticks to the ball bearings and races like nobody's business. By runny, we mean that when the balls start to roll, it is smoother and has less resistance than other greases. The "Web" in the name comes from what happens when you try to pull the lube out of a race of off a bearing. It's like string cheese or that stuff Spidey shoots. The magic in the lube is PTFE (sometimes known as Teflon). One tube is 4oz. -- enough to give you years of usage.

What do you think about this product?

Will this tube screw into a mini grease gun to service suspension pivots?

Could this be used for re-packing old freewheel bearings instead of using marine grease?

Using this on everything

I've put it through the wringer

I used to employ several different types of grease depending on the application; heavy teflon grease for static or threaded fits, and a bearing specific grease for pretty much everything else. Superweb is now the only grease in my tool box; I think I have 3 tubes now. I use it on everything, down to shift and brake cables, and am elated with the results. Yes, I am the kind of nerd that gets excited about great; and this stuff has me grinning! Bradley Gehrig Customer Account Manager Office: 801–204-4541 bgehrig@backcountry.com

Great tube

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It was so easy to use to put in my bearings with the tube. It has worked great and smooth.

Great long lasting grease

I've put it through the wringer

I use this on: pivot bolts, thru axles, pedal axles, saddle rails, seat posts, etc....stuff is stringy and easy to wipe off without leaving your hands too greasy.

Convenient, easy to use grease

I've used it several times

This stuff works well and seems to perform well in my bottom bracket and headsets. The squeezeable tube makes it super easy to get what you need without making a mess. Probably an odd instance, but the end of the tube opened up on me and now mine leaks. I have to keep it in a ziplock bag now to prevent it from getting grease all over my tools/toolbox.
