It is in fact the "Complete Kit", which comes in a Rock n Roll Gold box containing the 16oz bottle, and empty 4oz bottle, 2 drip nipple applicator tops and a cap.

I have used many lubes and I can actually tell the difference when using this one. Very smooth shifting, cleaning while lubricating, and spins easier. Great stuff!

Hi, Whats best way for application? I have been using R & N Gold for over 1/2 a decade . I had read someplace to generously drip on the chain itself and then wipe it clean till chain shines and is dry. For reapplication time cared for gear doesn't squeak, i re lube when i there is a lag in pedal smoothness. Like to know view from experts out there. thanks

Love that it cleans and lubes at the same time, it has made chain/drivetrain maintenance so much easier! I will never again use those sticky lubes that cause the dirt to stick everywhere and requiring a scrubbing post-ride. This stuff is awesome! Favorite lube I've ever used!

I ride my bikes a lot, like everyday for hours...and hours. So I need my gear to last me as long as possible. This lube does the trick! I wash each of my bikes every couple weeks and then reapply lube and wipe the chain with a dry rag after every ride. Keeps my chain clean, dry, and functioning perfectly. No issues whatsoever.

I live in Utah where it is dry and dusty. Needless to say, this stuff fits and works great for dry conditions. The best part is, you won't need to clean your chain because this lube does not pick up dust.

This lube has been my go to for a long time now. It is awesome that it comes in a bulk bottle too! The small applicator bottle leaks pretty badly, but I wouldn't let that change my mind on buying this again.

Favorite all around lube

Love this lube for dry, dusty rides and wet, muddy rides alike. It works great in all conditions. Be sure to put on a clean chain or you will make a huge mess. This kit comes with a large 16oz bottle for replenishing the smaller bottle. I will put a small bearing in the bottom of the bottle just to help mix things up.

Rock N Roll lubes are my go to. I used the gold for my road bikes and for early season mountain biking when trails are tacky. Living in UT things get dusty quickly and I switch to the Rock N Roll Extreme. Both work great!

Degrease first, then lube

Great product! Be sure to apply to a clean chain. I use WD 40 degreaser to clean my chain first. 4 stars because the bottle leaks. I highly recommend storing it in a zip lock bag.

It's been said a half dozen times below, but it's true -- it just works. It's light, and goes on easy. It keeps my drivetrain running smooth without collecting nastiness, even in our dusty desert conditions. I generally reapply every few MTB rides.

Usually use white lightning, but figured I'd give this a try. So far it's working great in the dry dusty conditions we have here in UT. As long as you follow the directions and wipe your chain really well there is no build up on the chain and it lasts for a couple rides.

This stuff lasts and lasts, so long it may create bad habits. Shake well, put it on, cycle the gears, let it sit, then wipe it off. I'm not a chain whisperer, maybe it's because this stuff keeps my chain quite, so I never have to worry about it.

Chain lubes are different?

I've gone through most of my life thinking chain lubes can't be all that different from each other. I've also endured some fairly unpleasant drive-train issues the past few years, experiencing super annoying grinding and blaming it on the switch the the new 1x setups. I would clean and lube everything, adjust everything perfectly, and my drive-trains (mostly sram X01 and XX1) would still not feel all that smooth after the first hundred miles or so. Finally though I switched to this Rock N Roll lube, and I'll be damned the grinding is gone and my drive-train feels as good as day 1. It is still hard for me to grasp how this lube can be so much better than the other name brand products I have had, but all I can say is the stuff works.
