What Our Gearhead Experts Are Saying:
"Ridley Grifn GRX RX800 hits the sweet spot for versatility. With its tailored geometry and wide tire clearance, it's smooth on asphalt and confident on gravel. I appreciate the thoughtful extras like fender mounts and dynamo routing for true all-weather capability."
The Ridley Grifn GRX RX800 combines road bike speed with gravel bike durability, offering a dual-purpose machine for adventurous riders. Its all-road geometry optimizes handling, featuring a slightly slacker head tube angle for stability off-road and sharper responsiveness on the road.
Equipped with Shimano's GRX RX800 groupset, the Grifn ensures crisp and dependable shifting, making it perfect for tackling steep climbs and speedy descents. The carbon frame balances lightweight efficiency with robustness, while clearance for up to 38mm tires adds cushioned confidence on uneven surfaces.
Practical features abound, from integrated dynamo routing for lighting setups to 11 customizable mounting points that accommodate bottles, bags, or tools. Whether we're racing gran fondos or embarking on gravel expeditions, the Grifn GRX RX800 delivers unmatched versatility in a sleek, award-winning design.

Good bike but….
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- L
I bought this bike a month ago. Things have been smooth however there are a couple of details that I am not too happy about. First one is the crank length: the website says that L and XL sizes come with 175mm. I ordered a L size but it came with 172.5mm. Secondly there is no info about the handlebar width. The bike comes with a fairly narrow handlebar. I should have checked this before buying. The handlebar is not easy to replace since the cable routings are all internal. Anyway, I like the bike but I wish that the website were more accurate with the details.
