These are great shoes. Due to the extra material, may not be the best for long pedaling rides. They are similar length as the low top RC shoes but have a lot of volume. These would be great for a person with a high volume foot or using in more gravity oriented rides and or winter when you want to wear thicker socks. For every day trail riding...get the hellion or livewire.

Coming from Giro and Five Ten previously I was really disappointed with the lack of grip these shoes had. The quality of the shoes was of the absolute highest quality. They run a little big, I’m typically an 11.5 narrow and had to buy a 12 but they’re super comfy.

Do you mean they run small? Because you said you went up in size.

They run small. I got a pair at size 10.5 which is what I wear in everything, and they were definitely too small. Ended up sizing up to 11.0
