Blacklabel XC 259 Hydra Boost Wheelset
If you're into cross-country, you're likely into fast, lightweight, stealthy wheelsets. And Reynolds brings their elite Blacklable and MR5 technology to the start line with the XC 259 Hydra 29in Boost Wheelset. Using their varied carbon layup patterning, known as MR5, Reynolds goes to significant lengths to ensure the asymmetric design is robust and compliant to ensure fast accelerations, stable handling, and precision steering throughout the entire course. The asymmetrical rim profile allows the XC 259 to achieve more even spoke tension across the rear wheel to help boost the whole wheel-system's performance. Meaning you'll have increased handling in hard turns, more stable accelerations, and can make full use of the boost spacing opportunities on your bike.
Laced to Industry Nine's well-known Hydra hubs, the XC 259 offers engagement in a wicked-fast 0.52-degrees for near-instantaneous power to the drivetrain in critical sections on trail and for the finish. The XC 259 comes in HG, MicroSpline, and XD configurations and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

- I've put it through the wringer
actually sold my enve's and got these, sacreledge I know. they are super light, I haven't had an mtb wheelset this light. raced on them a full year now and have held up with not a single issue. the hydra hubs are phenominal, it doesn't get any better. engagement is superb, they roll smooth and have been dependable through whatever I put them through. I actually just ordered another set of these for another bike in our household for this next season. highly recommended wheelset from a company sometimes overlooked. I would reccomend considering them against any you're looking at.
