These rims feature a 23mm internal and a 32mm external profile that allows for wider, all-terrain tires to have a greater footprint improving comfort, rolling resistance, and traction on chip seal and gravel roads. The 40mm deep rims help in the aerodynamics department and improve stiffness so can hit ruts and corner with more confidence than before. Tires are easier to set up tubeless and you'll enjoy the backroads in total confidence. The ATR rims are laced to Reynolds Allroad Disc hubs using 24 steel spokes front and rear for lightweight performance and an excellent ride quality. The freehub engages every 10 degrees for 36 points of engagement letting you get right back on the gas and up to speed after coasting the downhill. Center Lock disc mounting lets you reap the benefits of powerful, all-condition braking and will also work with existing 6-bolt rotors with adapters. The ATRs are built to take a beating and come back begging for more.
These wheels come with hub set up for thru-axles front (12 x 100mm and 15 x 100mm) and rear (12 x 142mm). Additional adapters for quick releases are available separately. Reynolds offers a lifetime warranty on this wheelset.

The perfect gravel wheel
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I had been looking for a set of wheels to use as gravel only with a tubeless tire set up. I kept leaning towards Reynolds because I have always had great luck with them and find they are an absolute steal for the money you pay. They are really great quality at any price, so having them be on the "affordable" side of carbon wheels is just a bonus. The ATR came out and I just could not pass it up. It was exactly what I was looking for and has not failed me yet.
I won't give you the specs on these, they were all very accurate as described. The weight and dimensions were spot on. I mounted them up with a pair of Schwalbe G-One Speed Tubeless tires and they went onto the wheel easily and had just the normal level of cussing when trying to get the tubeless tire to pop into place and seal. (If you have mounted tubeless tires you know this battle). I have had these out for several rides on my Canyon Endurace and they are great wheels. I have the light tread on the tire, so it is not like I can say they sail through the air like a TT wheel, but the depth is noticeable when spun up and they do not feel heavy when you need to get them turning over from a dead stop. The ride is nice and playable, although being that I am running these as gravel wheels I am running a lower tire pressure than I would riding just the road.
As for the build quality and the looks... top notch. The build is clean and does not show seams. The spoke nipples are external, which is a nice departure from the internal nipples Reynolds usually uses being that these gravel/cross type wheels may be a little more prone to getting a spoke to break. The hubs are "Reynolds" branded, so I am not sure who's hub guts are in there, but they roll fast and smooth. The wheels are stiff laterally with no noticeable flex, and I am 185 lbs and still ride bikes like I am a kid doing BMX, so I did put them through the wringer a bit.
For the looks, the black on black waterslide graphics Reynolds is doing now are so nice. Clean, sharp, and understated seems to be the new black.
If you are in the market for gravel or cross wheels that are for disc brakes I say go for these.
