Hi! I'm trying to go faster in my Gravel when riding on the road. So I'm looking to out some road tires on these rims. How narrow can this rims go? 32mm? 28mm? BR! Patricio

Hi Patricio, with these rims I would not go lower than a 25mm width tire. I would recommend a 28 though for that width on the skinny side of things.

Canyon Endurace Clearance
Not sure that I can reply to Ryan M., or reply with a picture to Bernie's review. Anywho, I have a 2018 Endurace with the Reynolds Assault LE wheels. Different model, I know, but internal measurement is 21mm and I can attest to how durable Reynolds are and how awesome the Endurace is on gravel. Love doing mixed terrain rides! Pictured are 32mm Panaracer Gravelking SKs, and you can see the available clearance. I would like to try 34mm WTB Byways, as well. Pretty sure they would fit, but wouldn't be happy with anything but dry gravel.

I have 2018 Cannondale Synapse Disc and would love to purchase these wheels for it. I know I have clearance for 35s and was wondering if 28s or 30s on this wheelset would clear the frame? I’m just unsure how much the 32mm external width would expand a tire. Thanks

Hey Roxanna! Thanks so much for reaching out! Those Reynolds wheels will clear your frame just fine, but I wouldn't go wider than a 32. The actual width of the rim at it's widest is a hair narrower than 32, so I wouldn't be concerned at all! Be sure to let me know if you have any more questions at email@example.com. Thanks!

Hi Roxanna -- can you really fit a 35c tire, measured, in your synapse? That is great, if true. Have read it to be less than that.

The perfect gravel wheel
- I've used it several times
I had been looking for a set of wheels to use as gravel only with a tubeless tire set up. I kept leaning towards Reynolds because I have always had great luck with them and find they are an absolute steal for the money you pay. They are really great quality at any price, so having them be on the "affordable" side of carbon wheels is just a bonus. The ATR came out and I just could not pass it up. It was exactly what I was looking for and has not failed me yet. I won't give you the specs on these, they were all very accurate as described. The weight and dimensions were spot on. I mounted them up with a pair of Schwalbe G-One Speed Tubeless tires and they went onto the wheel easily and had just the normal level of cussing when trying to get the tubeless tire to pop into place and seal. (If you have mounted tubeless tires you know this battle). I have had these out for several rides on my Canyon Endurace and they are great wheels. I have the light tread on the tire, so it is not like I can say they sail through the air like a TT wheel, but the depth is noticeable when spun up and they do not feel heavy when you need to get them turning over from a dead stop. The ride is nice and playable, although being that I am running these as gravel wheels I am running a lower tire pressure than I would riding just the road. As for the build quality and the looks... top notch. The build is clean and does not show seams. The spoke nipples are external, which is a nice departure from the internal nipples Reynolds usually uses being that these gravel/cross type wheels may be a little more prone to getting a spoke to break. The hubs are "Reynolds" branded, so I am not sure who's hub guts are in there, but they roll fast and smooth. The wheels are stiff laterally with no noticeable flex, and I am 185 lbs and still ride bikes like I am a kid doing BMX, so I did put them through the wringer a bit. For the looks, the black on black waterslide graphics Reynolds is doing now are so nice. Clean, sharp, and understated seems to be the new black. If you are in the market for gravel or cross wheels that are for disc brakes I say go for these.

Bernie- just curious, how wide of a tire can you fit on your Canyon Endurace with these Reynolds wheels? 35’s?
