Road plus is here in a big way. Many cross and gravel frames can handle the smaller diameter yet wider hoops and tires and manufacturers are committed to providing product for plus. And just like it changed the landscape of mountain biking, gravel riders are appreciating the lower pressure and added traction that comes with running wider tires as well. The Reynold's ATR 650 Carbon Disc Wheelset lets you continue your drop bar adventures when the smooth pavement ends. These wheels allow you to traverse roads and trails less traveled with wider and stronger carbon fiber rims designed to support wider rubber. Set up your gravel bike with a set of ATR 650's and some wide all-road rubber and you'll experience the lightness, stiffness, and comfort that will give you an edge on an epic gravel race or a weeklong bikepacking trip.

The rims feature a healthy 23mm internal and a 32mm external width that plumps up road plus tires for a greater footprint that improves comfort, rolling resistance, and traction over chip seal county roads and gravel paths. The 40mm depth rims improve aerodynamics and increase stiffness making the bike more responsive and handle fast corners like it's on rails. Set up the tires tubeless and you'll enjoy a new world of suppleness and avoid pinch flats or any other puncture induced deflations. The ATR rims are laced to Reynolds Allroad Disc hubs using 24 steel spokes on both the front and rear for lightweight performance and an excellent ride quality. The freehub engages quickly every 10 degrees for 36 points of engagement so getting back on the gas occurs with very little lag. The hubs accommodate center lock disc rotor mounting which we prefer over 6-bolt as it is a quicker, stiffer interface and you can always use 6-bolt rotors with adapters. Disc brakes on gravel and all-road bikes is a no-brainer as it provides more powerful, predictable braking in all conditions. These ATRs can handle the punishment and aren't a fragile flyweight carbon wheelset.

These wheels come with hubs set up for thru-axles front (12 x 100mm and 15 x 100mm) and rear (12 x 142mm). Additional adapters for quick release and other axle configurations are available separately. Reynolds offers a lifetime warranty on all of their wheelset.
