Fantastic Product! Now have 2 of them!

I've put it through the wringer

I bought this frame pack to add to my gravel/touring bike as a more efficient way to carry stuff on long rides/races - of course there are a number of different manufacturers that are out there that make similar products however i ultimately decided to go with ReStrap based on the materials and the aesthetics. On opening i discovered the gem which was the "Made in Yorkshire" tag, as a Yorkshireman living in the USA this a) immediately made me think of home, and b) secured them a return customer! The bag itself fits my gravel bike like a glove, I had to shimmy my bottle cages down a little bit in order to be able to fit a taller bottle but it's not a game changer, i'd assume that i'd have to do the same with other frame bags anyway. In terms of storage i had in there on a recent race, food/CO2 cartridges, a waterproof, pair of gloves, leg warmers and a first aid kit - in short, there's plenty of room for stuff, and i'm sure i could have packed more in there. The document/side pocket is a nice place to put credit cards/ID and other less bulky bits and pieces. I've now had this pack on my bike during numerous rides, and it's also been on the bike on the roof during numerous storms this spring, everything has stayed very dry! I bought one in the medium size for my significant other who decided that she'd prefer to just carry stuff in her Camelbak so now i have that on my hardtail too - best possible outcome, buy something for someone else and keep it for yourself! I've since bought other ReStrap products and I'm similarly impressed with the quality of the product - when we inevitably go on a longer bike packing trip I'm certain we'll be buying more of the bags too.

Excellent Frame Pack

I've used it several times

I use this on my RLT RDO 59 and my Pivot Les in size L. This bag as been great. It allows for two water bottles and the bag to run without interference. The internal organization pockets are great as well. I use this for carrying mainly food and bike maintenance pieces during long rides (5 to 9 hours) training for 24 hour racing. It's a great pack. and is well made.

Fits, but not always perfectly.

I've used it several times

I recently completed a self-supported road tour from Salt Lake City to New Castle, Colorado and ReStrap products comprised my entire storage system. I chose their bags over others due to a combination of quality construction, durable materials and a subtle classic styling. After a few tests and all those miles on the road, I'm happy to report I'm still satisfied with my choice. For my tour, I rode a 56cm Niner RLT RDO. The sizing charts indicated the LG I purchased would fit, but I found the top tube length to be just a touch short. Aside from that minor sizing issue and less than easy use of the zippers when fully loaded, the bag provided me with accessible storage of my bike maintenance essentials and a first aid kit. Keep in mind that frame bags won't always fit like a glove (unless you order one bespoke). Provided you're riding a larger frame, you'll still be able to fit two bottles with ease. Give me a shout if you have any other questions about packing for extended touring.

Hey thanks for the review. Can you clarify one thing: when you say "I found the top tube length to be just a touch short" you mean the bag didn't fill your frame enough, or that the bag was bigger than you expected? I have an inner top tube length of 19.75". wondering if a large in this bag would be a good fit. Thanks.
