Rapha started by minimizing the straps on the bibs, for less skin coverage, and used a lighter mesh than what's used on the standard Pro Team shorts, creating a more minimal garment for those warmer days. Lighter weight fabrics are used throughout and a perforated chamois improves moisture transfer so you feel cooler even as the mercury rises, for excellent comfort on the longest, hottest rides.

On the exterior, the seat panel is constructed from a resilient fabric to increase durability and prevent premature wear while the side panels use a lightweight and breathable fabric for excellent moisture management and ventilation. At the leg openings, fine silicone grippers provide a secure and comfortable fit at the hem so you're not constantly having to tug them back into place.
