Pro Team Insulated Gilet - Men's

One of the most underappreciated pieces of kit, the gilet, or vest, adds versatility to any kit and keeps the core warm with almost no added bulk and it takes up little space in your jersey pocket when it's not needed. Take the Men's Rapha Pro Team Insulated Gilet for instance. It uses Polartec Alpha insulation for incredible warmth that makes for an ideal outer layer during rides with variable conditions and venturing out on cool starts as well as extended time off the bike. It's also highly breathable, hydrophobic, and quick drying and doesn't hold onto moisture like other insulations do, so you can leave it on for longer. The front is DWR-coated and windproof for extra comfort while the stretch fabric on the back ensures a great fit and excellent ventilation of body heat. Also on the back are three pockets for storing food, extra gear, and flat fixing material and a tail that extends past where your jersey sits protecting you from wheel spray.

Other favorite features include the double-ended Vislon zipper with locking pull to better keep it in place when partially zipped. Having the ability to open up the vest from the top or the bottom allows for easy access to jersey pockets and the ability to vent as needed.
