Good post

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The stock lever isn't any good, but many aren't. Once setup is achieved, go use it. It works, and it works well.

Reliable, Terrible Lever

So far, so good on reliability. Terrible lever and a rip off at $60 for an adequate thumb lever.

    No issues!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I installed this dropper on my bike a couple of months ago, and I've been overall quite pleased with it! Set-up was a breeze (but you will want cable cutters!), and I haven't had any problems out on trail.

    Solid Dropper

The Race Face Turbine is definitely a solid dropper post and have had no issues with it so far. I have had issues with Giant droppers in the past and the Turbine has worked well.

      Great Post, Not Great Lever

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So far this dropper has been reliable and trouble free. The return speed of the Turbine seems to be a bit faster than the older Reverbs, but slower than the Specialized Command Post. My only complaint is the older style lever that it comes with. I'll be upgrading to a shifter style lever ASAP.

      Solid Performer

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

A pretty solid performing post, once on the bike, but it does give a bit of a headache during setup. Smooth actuation on the bike and a good looking finish, definitely a good bet.

      Does the job

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I must admit I'm a bit of a novice with dropper posts, but I've tested a couple different ones and this one does what it's supposed to. Love it!

      Post about a post

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love my Turbine dropper. I've had a handful of dropper posts across several brands and this is by far the most reliable and bomb proof I've used. It looks great and performs like a dropper should - never sticking on the way back up. Currently running the 100mm

      Gets the job done

Dropper posts are the best thing ti happen to MTB since tubless. This one in particular is simple. Just set it up and forget it. It works.

      Tricky Setup, Good After

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Tricky to set up but after you get it dialed it works well.

      Great addition to your bike

Dropper posts are a game changer for your ride. This one was recommended to me by our bike team backcountry and it hasn't let me down. If you are investing in a bike that may not have a dropper pair included, this is the one you want! Lever included!

        wont buy anything else

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had 3 on my last 3 bikes. Bomber, easy set up (just follow the video). I personally like how fast it returns, some dont like that but I like it to be up as soon as I want it there.

        Love my Turbine Dropper

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used a lot of droppers over the past few years, and this is probably my favorite. Thomson might feel better, but I broke a lot of cables on it and its pricey. The reverb is a piece of junk. If you have one, throw it away now!
The Turbine might be a little finicky to setup, but take your time, read the instructions, or have a mechanic do it. I love mine. Works great, looks great

Its an OK Dropper. I prefer the Fox Transfer and RS Reverb. The Transfer has a better lever feel. But, it has been pretty durable for me, so that is good!

cable torn with only 3 months of usage

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This dropper post came with a high end Yeti ASRC bike that I bought from Competitive Cyclist. With less than 3 months and under 100 miles of riding, no crashes, the cable is torn with only 3 thread remains. Race face should consider putting more quality cable on their expensive dropper seat post. Unhappy customer. I bought a high end bike with high end components and expect to work longer than 3 months. And yes, I'm the original owner and bought it brand new.

cable torn with only 3 months of usage

By a new cable! They are like $3.00.... Nothing to do with Race Face.

          dont go without one!

Grabbed one of these for my Yeti SB6 build and am hyped! This is my second dropper and I did upgrade the remote, which makes for a great ride!

            First dropper.

This seat post was supplied with a new SB6c Yeti bike. It is my first dropper, and it works! Very well I might add. I will probably upgrade the control lever at some point, even though the stock one works well.
