It's a cinch

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Raceface has really come through with their new cranks. The cinch system is a 30mm spindle that really stiffens up the cranks. Although they are Alum. cranks, they are very light and durable. They spin freely and will hold up to any type of terrain.

Cranks make the bike go forward.

I chose the 175mm, I am 6'2" with long legs. Works as a crank should!

I chose the Turbine Cinch crankset to put on my Santa Cruz 5010. The perfect 1X option at a very reasonable cost. You have to be going really hard to drop a chain off of this crankset. Give me a shout if you want to talk shop.

cinch is here to stay

Awesome crankset. Lightweight, stiff with the 30mm spindle, and the cinch lock system is awesome. Changing the chain ring is super simple, the rings are amazingly light, and the narrow/wide teeth help a huge amount as far as chain retention. Contemplated this and a shimano xt crank, went this route, and have zero regrets.

Best value in 1x Cranksets at the moment. I briefly considered more expensive carbon cranksets, but for the minimal losses in weight and gains in stiffness, the Turbine was a no-brainer. Haven’t dropped a chain yet in the first several hundred miles.

great inexpensive 1X option

These have performed really well and no maintenance issues at all. Weight is right in line with other cranks that were considerably more. They feel stiff and have run well with my niner air 9 carbon.
