I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

What you don't see in the pictures is the straps on the bottom that seem to be designed to strap a jacket or other layer to the bottom of this pack. I have fiddled with these long straps multiple times in an attempt to secure them to the bag in same way when there is not an extra item to carry that utilizes the straps. Maybe there's something obvious I'm missing, but there is no good way to secure these long straps. The options are to remove them or figure out some system to hold them up. On my ride this morning I noticed a long line in my shadow and something from my lower back strung down to the rear tire. Of course I realized it was these straps. If a cycle specific pack is designed with a problem that could results in a serious accident, I would guess there wasn't the proper testing on this pack. I am giving it two stars because the pocket sizes are nice and the could barely feel the pack when riding. I actually forgot I was wearing it at one point. I was wearing all my winter gear, but I was still impressed with the comfort. Anyway, I'll find some velcro system for those straps that are dangerous, or I'll just cut them. The rest of the pack seems to function well.
