Next R 35 20mm Rise Carbon Handlebar

With a claimed weight of just 215g and the goldilocks width and rise favored by aggressive trail riders, the Race Face Next R 35 20mm Rise Handlebar is ideal for punching it hard while standing up and over steep grades or slaloming some technical singletrack lines through rock gardens and down rooty drops. Race Face's claims that the unidirectional carbon fiber lightweight bars are strong enough for DH runs, but we would suggest using common sense. Pick up the SixC bars if you want carbon, or any of their alloy bars if you eat big drops and gaps for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The 35mm reinforcement stem clamp area instills confidence and we have to admit that it looks appropriate and makes sense since tires, fork stanchions, hub spacing, etc. have all grown in recent years. Failure isn't an option and doesn't cross our minds on the trail as Race Face has an excellent track record. This peace of mind lets us concentrate on the trail and pick the best lines leading to the most fun.

  • Lightweight oversize bars for trail riding
  • Manufactured from UD carbon for exceptional ride quality
  • Carbon optimized flex for improved small bump compliance
  • 800mm width offers excellent control
  • 35mm bar diameter for incredible strength/weight ratio
