Not only is the meter's +/- 2% power accuracy on par with many industry leaders, but the Cinch Spindle adapts to a wide variety of cranks from both Race Face and Easton.
This left-side power meter is safely tucked into your bottom bracket shell, ensuring longevity over crank arm meters prone to rock strikes and damaging impacts on the trail. The 400-hour battery life is impressive, outlasting many of the other gadgets and head units hooked up on our mountain bikes. When it's time to recharge, simply pop off the port and plug in a USB cable to quickly juice this power meter.
Dual Bluetooth low energy and ANT+ ensure seamless compatibility with today's smartphones and head units, with Race Face offering a Cinch Power Meter app for both Apple and Android devices. Another feature to note is the power meter's auto-start/stop function, which can be disabled from the app when you're traveling to the trail head or race venue.

Well I gave it shot but it is not on par with the quarqs for sure. Nothing but problems and highly inaccurate.
1st it wont turn on right away. My unit takes about 10 minutes of riding to turn on and randomly turns off, always in the middle of intervals.
Using the power calibration test it reads about 20-30 watts lower than all my quarq's( I have 5) and Tacx Neo.
Raceface is refunding my money.

These things are so new and there's not much info out there so I thought I would share my initial impressions. I have a Cinch system with Next SL cranks on my XC bike so this was a direct replacement for my spindle. The package includes everything that you need to remove the old spindle and replace the new except for 2 and 8mm allen keys and large crescent wrench. Ideally, you need a torque wrench that can go to 50nM. I tested it in front of my house and everything worked as expected. I can't wait to try it on my first ride and will try to post a follow-up.
Install items to note:
1. You need grease.
2. You need aerosol lube to blast everything before you try to take the existing cranks off.
3. Do not underestimate how hard it it to loosen the old cranks, 50nM is a lot.
4. If you don't have the tools or expertise, just do yourself a favor and take it to a shop.
