Fat meets svelte.

If you’re a certified fat bike maniac, you were probably thrilled to find out that Race Face offers its stunning Next SL crankset in a 100mm spindle option for use with your extra-large steed. And the Race Face Cinch Fat Bike Threaded Bottom Bracket is exactly what you need to complete the upgrade. Featuring finely finished cups, and packed with Phil Wood grease, it’s a worthy accompaniment to those sleek carbon arms you’ve been drooling over.

Designed to match the stunning Next SL crankset, it’s no wonder that Race Face pulled out all the stops in the production of this bottom bracket. It started with high quality 6806 bearings, which promise a long life full of smooth rotations. It gets filled with Phil Wood bearing grease, long regarded as one of the very best options for high-wear bearings on your bike. And the plastic inner sleeve protects the bearings from whatever liquids might leak into your bottom bracket shell.

The Race Face Cinch Fat Bike Threaded Bottom Bracket is available in one size, for a 100mm English threaded bottom bracket shell, and one color.

  • 100mm shell width
  • English threading
  • 30mm axle
  • Packed with Phil Wood bearing grease
  • Designed to work with Race Face Next SL crankset

Does What It Needs To

It fits, it spins, and it does so smoothly. Paired with the Race Face Next SL Cranks and all is well.

For Next SL cranks

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is the bottom bracket you will need for using the Next SL fatty cranks. Installed without a hitch and looks great. One thing of note is you will need the Cinch bottom bracket tool to install. A standard external cup BB tool will not work.
