As one of the most accurate power meters available for mountain bikers, the SRAM XX1 Eagle DUB Dzero Power Meter Crank Arms provides a wealth of power information, so you can better understand how much output you're placing to the pedals during everyday outings on the dirt, longer training rides, and competitive racing efforts. It's extraordinarily lightweight and stiff with SRAM's Carbon Tuned construction, giving you every available advantage when it's time to lay down serious power on smooth trails and climb up thousands of vertical feet in the mountains.
It's made specifically for SRAM's 12-speed Eagle and 1x drivetrains and accommodates the wider chainline of modern mountain bikes with Boost spacing. It's equipped with SRAM's 28.99-milimeter DUB spindle for improved longevity in wet, nasty conditions and lower overall weight for efficiency—all while maintaining compatibility with virtually every bottom bracket standard on the market. You'll need to purchase one of SRAM's X-Sync or X-Sync 2 Chainrings with a 104 BCD (bolt circle diameter), plus a DUB bottom bracket that's tailored to your frame's specific needs.
Delving into the workings of SRAM's Dzero Power Meter unit, you'll find it's hooked up with dual Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT+, so you can relay power information to a host of aftermarket head units and smartphone devices. SRAM even makes their own Qalvin BLE app, so you can view your pedaling torque, power output in watts, and pedal stroke revolutions, as well as view remaining battery life, update firmware to the newest version, and set zero to calibrate your power meter. This free app is available for both iOS and Android devices, giving you the ability to use it with your smartphone or tablet.
SRAM's Dzero Power Meter provides +/- 1.5% accuracy, ensuring you have the very best accuracy from a mountain bike-specific power meter. 10,000 data points virtually eliminate the effects of temperature variations on this power meter, especially when you're climbing in the mountains and experiencing different climates across varying trail systems. Plus, it's rated to IPX-7 standards, meaning you won't have to worry about notoriously wet and grimy conditions ruining the electronics inside.
