Great spare

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Q-tubes makes a great spare tube for keeping in the saddle bag. I appreciate that I can get very long valve stems (up to 80mm) out of the box so I don’t need valve extenders even with deep dish rims (and nothing is worse than finding out that your spare tube won’t work b/c of a short valve stem). I’ve found them to be quite durable and effective.

...with this tube. Inexpensive and does the job. Put a little sealant in them and they last forever. Great training tube!

Keep It Simple

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

They're tubes, they hold air, what more can I say. They've held up to biking to the bar, riding local paved trailways and the periodic gravel run. Valve stems seem to be sturdy and high quality as well. We'll see how long they last. So far, so good.

I know what you're thinking..

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

..its a tube. And you're right. But for the price and quality I have no complaints, and that's where the bar is set.

Always need some

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I always have about 6 of these on hand because things happen. A great tube for the money, never had any issues with them.

Q-Tubes

As everyone else stated - they do their job. I've been buying Q-tubes for YEARS and have never had a single issue.

    Great...

...price, I bought 10 of them! Great tube to run on daily training rides. Very happy with this product. Will buy more when needed!

They're tubes, what more do you want?

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

A quality tube from quality bike parts. Not a whole lot to say besides these things get the job done and they're decently priced as well.

    Inflate and enjoy

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Standard butyl tube. Offered in many widths and valve stem lengths. Removable valve cores make it easy to add some sealant in the tube to help with flat prevention. If you're not counting every gram, there is no reason to go with another tube.

I Was Sent The Wrong Tube With A Hole!!

I believe a customer returned the tube that was sent to me. The tube had been used and with a hole in it! Backcountry sent me the schmuck the used tube! It is obviously used because the area with the hole had scuff marking that was about the be patched, but that smart customer decided to just go ahead and return the used tube for a new one or got his money back. If this was you then I hope you snap your right clavicle! Anyways, I still needed a tube asap, so I went ahead and just finish patching up Mr. Smarty Pants work and rode away cussing out Backcountry all the way to the top of the mountain without a KOM. The lesson here is to always double check your order for hole(s) or bed bugs...

Oh man! I'm so sorry you had that experience! I realize it was a while ago at this point, but did you call customer service?
