By my standards, these are a race tire. Swapping these in after riding Armidillos was a breath of spring wind at my back. They ride fast, have never flatted, and handle great.
The exterior rubber is soft, almost tacky, and handles confidently. Although it will show wear tear. Last season was light by most training standards and they saw me through the whole thing and a couple races. I've pulled about a dozen pieces of glass out of them, but non of these has punctured the Kevlar casing that runs under the rubber.
Conti struck a great balance w/ these tires in producing a hefty, light, and tacky race-ready trainer.
