Okay so several weeks later, I am here to edit. I finally caved and mounted these up with tubes. As anticipated, these tires/ tread pattern are great. They accelerate really fast, climb great, have a predictable slide, and they grip like a sombitch. I set a few PR's on my first ride with them. now that they had a tube in for a bit, I will try to go tubeless when I get a flat. oh yeah, I even had a piece of cactus stuck to the sidewall twice and I didn't flat. I really like Michelin tires. I have had a few types and they are ride really well. I am sold on the Wild AM and Force AM. they will likely be my go-to tires for my trail bikes.

I took off a Maxxis DHR2 TR and tried to mount this tire on the same RaceFace AR tubeless ready rim. It reminded me of when tubeless tires were first coming out. It would not seat on the rim. After losing half the sealant all over the garage and was ready to break shit, I put the Maxxis back on. I don't know what to do. Maybe they just won't work on this rim. I have a set of Michellin Force AM that mounted right up to a different rim.
