Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Does what it says.

The quick link on my Dura Ace 11 speed chain is really stiff, this tool both removes and install the link.

Not sure how I will install a 12speed XTR link on my Mtn bike if I ever need to repair on the trail. Holding the real wheel and stomping on the pedal is not going to be easy. Lets hope I never need to fix a chain when riding.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I didn't think I would like the crank stand as much as the feedback sport spring loaded wheel stand, but I do for my Mtn Bikes

It is actually better for Mtn. It is easy on/off when I use a sleeve that is a bit smaller than my crank.

The feedback sport spring loaded wheel stand is -cooler- but if tire pressure gets really low or flat a Mtn bike falls over and road bike gets wobbley. Even with 20 PSI (2.4" tire) my Mtn bike had a hard time on the spring loaded stand

Even better I can use this stand to check my sealant levels. Rear tire is always elevated and to elevate the front tire, I just stick a cut peice of 2x4 under the fork.

The tires where tight when I first mounted them (Bontrager XXX Aeolus 4) but 6 months later when I decide to clean out any Orange Seal residue I found them to be a pleasure to get on/off the rim.

I have a compressor but didn't need it, I was able to pump up with a floor pump.

BTW I love Orange Seal too and if you are inclined to clean built-up residue I found it peels off in a single long rubbery sheet, took very little effort. That and no flats since I started using over a year ago.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have one (non XL) for my road bike that I ride 2X weekly. I loved that stand so I got this for Mtn.

I am not riding the Mtn Bike that often, when the tire pressure gets low the bike falls over.

Not thrilled, I am getting a wheel hub stand for the Mtb Bike. Wish I kept the box so I could return this one

Thx Ron
