Familiarity: I've used it several times

Bought these on a whim (and hey, they were on sale!). Since I already own a pair of cold-weather bib tights, I thought I would try something different. I like the idea of being able to separate the leg warmers from the bib shorts. From a few recent rides, I can attest to their cold (for Southern California) capabilities (35-50ºF). Even when the mercury picked up a little, I never overheated.

Two downsides - the chamois does not seem to be as comfortable/supportive as I have experienced on other brands. But, I am not one to knock out long rides in cold weather. Also, and this is something I experience with other long leg warmers, the leg warmers end up giving me an extra "bubble" or "roll" where they end near my upper thigh/inseam. A bit odd when you are walking or posing for that perfect Instagram shot, but you cannot see that on the bike.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I don't normally use leg warmers - living in SoCal has its perks. But when it is abnormally cold or I am riding virtually anywhere else, these are the warmers I reach for. The fit is great. The warmers stay put. I have even used these for running with great effect. The camo look is fantastic as well.

As a long time Assos cream user, I have always tried to find something that offers similar performance (for less $). After going through various lines such as Butt'r and DZ Nuts, this Morgan solid cream works really well. It goes on thicker than Butt'r and works well on my long rides. The Assos is so much smoother to spread but I notice around hour six it feels as if it has mostly disappeared. Not so with the Morgan cream. No initial "cooling" effect as with Assos - I appreciate that during the colder months. There are a few other creams I plan on trying, but not until I run out of this jar.

I've tried several brands of bib shorts, and none other have been this comfortable. I never understood the "feels like it disappears" description when applied to clothing or saddles or shoes....but with these shorts I finally get it. Very soft to the touch, both on the outside and inside. The mesh material for the straps are super comfortable.
