Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Performed nice on this 35 degree sunny morning ( no wind). I only wore a short sleeve wicking t-shirt with this jersey and my body temp could be regulated nicely with the front zipper.

Happy with my purchase. Quality is on par with my other pearl gear so I expect to get years of service out of this purchase.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but this product deserves it.

I refused to buy a pair knickers for years (price). Finally purchased them with the 25% holiday discount.

Got off work this morning and went on a 1 hour ride. 35 degrees, no wind, and they performed flawlessly.

The knickers cover what needs covering. The thermal fabric is soft and comfortable. Love them. Wish I had purchased years ago! More than worth the price!

The quality appears just as good as my other pearl gear. I expect to get years of service from with proper care.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased this as a frame (small) and fork (Fox FIT CTD factory 29-no remote) from Competive Cyclist. I am approximately 5'11 but prefer a small frame. I weigh approximately 185 and got the fox's dialed in after the second ride.

Bike setup includes: Stans Arches with tubeless setup specialized 2.1 ground control/f and 2.0 the captain/r. I also run SRAM's XO twist shift 9 speed and 160mm BB7's (never failed me). Cockpit/crank is RaceFace stuff.

I am loving the fox rear spring in the trail setting. I am able to climb out of the saddle in the trail setting with no issue. I have found no need to move from the rear trail setting during climbing, trail riding, or descending on my local Texas trails.

I will likely upgrade the front fork to a remote adjust as I have wanted to take some rocky downhills in the descend mode but missed the safety window (no one handed descents for me).

I am very pleased with my purchase and must say I was impressed with the Competitive Cyclist staff.

My decision to purchase the Santa Cruz Tallboy was finalized when I confirmed (with Santa Cruz) that the frame has a lifetime warranty.
