Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have the other version of these (lower price). The leg gripper is a bit different (fabric as opposed to elastic) and the mesh is lighter weight than the other version. Although I like the lighter weight mesh on this bib, I think I like the gripper on the other version better. At any rate, the Giro halter is very convenient. I like the mesh around the mid-body a lot. The chamois is good as well. These run slightly large. I ordered a medium and like the fit. I can wear a medium most bibs or large for shorts (mostly due to the rise of the waist) in other brands.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I wasn't sure I needed yet another bib, but the halter looked intriguing (I generally wear bibs that are either more full bodice with a zip or netting with suspenders). I put these on and immediately liked the feel of the fit. Like the cut of the mesh and the halter is very convenient. Just got back from a ride and the chamois is really good for me. Overall very pleased with the fit, look, and comfort. I may try the expert version as well as it sounds like the mesh is thinner and would be good for summer. I found these a bit on the larger side. I did not find that the elastic gave me sausage legs.

I admit, I bought these white Sidi's because they were on sale. Normally I would never buy white shoes period, and white shoes for mountain biking...no. But, once I got them I realized that I can use them for my commuting shoes and I believe the white is reflective, which is great for visibility.

Sidi's are the best shoe for my wide forefoot and narrow heel. Nothing comes close for me. They provide a solid platform that is wide enough that I don't have any numbness in the ball of my foot or cramping (a common problem for me in other shoes that are just a tad too narrow).

They do run small. I normally wear a 38 in clogs and birkenstocks or a 7.5 to 8 in other shoes. I wear a 40 in women's Sidi's and they are perfect.
