Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I just called Garmin to confirm, their latest firmware on 920xt and Fenix 3 have wiped out the ability to change your crank length, which means unless you have 172.5 cranks, the power reading will not be accurate. As many riders use Garmin head units, this makes the pedal based system a no go. Hopefully Garmin will release an update to give the ability back, but on the phone they gave no indication of it.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just used this on a 50 mile Rim to Rim to Rim run and this was amazing. No chaffing, and plenty of storage for my run. I had this thing loaded with gear and it sat flat on my back with no bouncing or sloshing. Love the soft flasks! I found I actually didn't need to remove them from the pockets to drink. I could put my head down, bite the valve, and squeeze the soft flask. This was actually really cool. I had to purchase the actual Salomon bladder. Other brands will not fit well in this pack. I had narrowed my choices down to this vest and the Ultimate Direction SJ vest, and this was better hands down.

Have used this for a several trips now and it is great! I currently use it on a 2013 Honda Pilot with Yakima crossbars. This thing holds a ton of gear. I wish it opened just a little bit wider, but you can still cram all your duffles, sleeping bags, camping chairs, and anything else in there. It is pretty heavy, but I am able to put it on and take it off by myself. It gets stored on a shelf in the garage rather than left on the car.
