Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use these on a commuter bike and they are perfect. Well made, sturdy and good looking enough. They work with SPD MTB cleats. I have not had any problems with them being too slick. I wouldn't use these for anything other than cruising around town but they are worth the price and I have no complaints.

I bought this for my 3 yr old since he outgrew his little specialized. I really like that it has some of the best coverage of any of the children's helmets that i looked at. sm/xs fits him great and there is quite a bit of adjustment. I think it will fit him awhile. He likes the visor because "it's just like daddy's". Also, it comes in his favorite color, a plus while negotiating with a toddler. I think this little helmet is dollar for dollar, the best value on the market.

I am going to order the cold weather insert. I'll update after i receive it

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

first the pros: I bought this for winter riding. It is definitely warmer than any other helmet I've worn in the cold. It is a little quieter though not a real selling point for me. I do like that you can vent it if you need to. It does look super cool! I mean this thing is the prettiest girl at the prom! EVERY rider checks this thing out and let's face it, as cyclists, we like that.
The con: it really does have tons of different adjustments and i have spent tons of time trying to adjust it. I have 2 months and 1000+ miles in this thing and still don't have it dialed in enough to glow about it. I bought the med and large to fit it right The medium actually fit perfect but the straps were too small. The large is just a little too much for me. I find it to be a large, bulbous, heavy helmet. I spend 5-7 minutes fiddling with this thing at the beginning of every ride after i have spent 10 minutes adjusting it before i leave the house. Some sunglasses fit ok with it others don't at all. On my head, this reminds me of an entry level $60 bell. I really expected better considering all the reviews and the price.

I will continue to wear it through winter because it's warm but i cant wait to put it away in the sping.

I am a huge Giordana fan after switching from Castelli last year. I recommend most Gio kit but for some reason their warmers are really a cut above everyone else. These are actually warm in the 30-40 degree range but I have used them as low as 28 and was fine. They're comfortable, always stay put and have a nice understated style.

These are my first Sidi shoes and I'll never stray. These are the first cycling shoes that are actually comfortable right out of the box. I'm so impressed. These have great amount of room in the toe box and good volume. More importantly, they have arch support. Usually I have to buy a 46 and then add insoles to a shoe that never fits correctly. These are also hugely adjustable. I didn't experience any issues with the tongue and was dialed in by the end of my first ride. I have put 500+ miles on them since and absolutely love these shoes.
