Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just ordered this dropper post and ended up buying a Wolf Tooth remote to go with it. Well, i was stoked to open the box and get it installed until i realized there was no cable included. I asked Backcountry and they said Fox ships the cable with the remotes they sell, not with the dropper post. I mentioned they may want to update the description in case others have the same experience, and they just said "Sorry, have a good day." Obviously not a big deal to go get a shifter cable to use, it just would have been nice to know this prior to ordering. So, I just wanted to mention it in case it helps someone down the line...

Installed the dropper and it's as easy as everyone else says it is. Dropper works great with the Wolf Tooth remote. The only strange thing (and others have mentioned this) is my seat moves sideways a bit if you just twist it with light pressure while standing next to the bike. Just seems a little strange it has that kind of play and doesn't feel 100% solid. The seatpost is not moving, it is just the connection to the seat. Hopefully it'll just stay that way and not break. If so, not a big deal.

the actual dropping works great, though. super smooth. nice you can put a little pressure on the lever to raise it slowly or just push it all the way and it will pop right up.
