Fitting these (Size II) over my size 45 Lakes is a tedious process but when it's well below freezing it is worth the struggle. If you have large calves these will be a tough fit. My calves are 14 1/2 inch diameter and I can't see them fitting someone comfortably with legs any bigger. If it is above freezing these are way too warm. Even in the high 20's if you are riding hard expect to sweat similar to being in a wetsuit.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are my absolute new go to short/bib's. I'm a XXL fit in nearly everything Castelli and these fit true to their sizing philosphy. That being said measure twice and order once. The straps although thin and flimsy have held up just fine and seem to be soft enough that if I'm not wearing a mesh under shirt they won't try and sand my nipples off.

Fit is true to Castelli "race fit" I am a XXL in all my other Castelli gear and it fit's just like you would expect based on measurements. Look past you normal sizing and measure if you are new to the Castelli brand. It fits just like you would expect a race cut jersey to, tight in all the right places but never too much pressure. Temps were in the mid 80's the other day and temperature control was not an issue.

Bought this jacket at the Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale. It's good quality and has a nice fit. I would consider it to be a fitted type cut. I have worn it nearly everyday and seems to be holding up fine. I would suggest you order the same size you wear in Castelli fitted riding gear. If you don't own any Castelli stuff don't guess, measure your chest and order accordingly. Room for a few layers without being loose fitting. I have worn it in temperatures from the teens up to the 40's and seems to work just fine.

Great cold weather shoe but think it'll be too warm in the summer. I have bought a set of show covers and haven't needed them with the temps into the mid 40's on my morning commute. The insoles aren't much more than a pressed flat piece of plastic. I ended up getting a set of Specialized insoles for them ( I was out of town and feet were killing me due to the low arch found in the shoes).

This piece alone has converted me to Castelli. It is my go to piece now that the temperature has gotten colder. Now that the mornings can get into the high 40's and high 50's on the way home at night it has been getting regular use. Take all the measurements and order what size your body measurements fall into not what you think you should wear. I was a little bummed to be buying a XXL when I can wear a Large in other manufacturers clothing but the fit is great. As advertised it is a little tight when standing upright but once you get onto the bike it fits like a second skin.

Little bummed. I am a bit chunky and this seems to run a little big for us plus sized riders. I am 5" 11' and right at the 200lb mark. I wear a XXL in all the other Castelli gear I own. I have only used this multiple times and it usually just stays in my jersey pocket. I have worn it over my Sanremo 2 and over a Castelli Puro jersey to keep some moisture off and seems like I was just getting wet from the inside. As a light stuffable rain fly it works, but don't expect it to not create it's own micro climate. For me it isn't breathable enough and isn't quite the fit I was expecting compared to their jerseys.
