I have Rapha, Assos, izumi etc bibs...when its coming down to a long day in the hills I grab the Silverline. Im 5'8 140 and the medium is perfect....nice compression on the legs. This material is a definite improvement over the older models, its much more durable. If you find them on sale grab a few of them. The chamois is excellent blows away both the Assos and Rapha chamois I have. Believe it or not I use the Assos bibs on daily training rides and the silverline on the big ones....it was supposed to be the other way around ...

the hoods are absolutely useless....if your real easy on them on install u might be ok but have to change a cable or bar tape and they become loose and are all over the place!!! the brakes work great thou, i ordered some new hoods hopefully they are not the same garbage and have been corrected...how the heck dis these get thru quality control!! I guess there is none!

Update....i ordered new hoods and installed them by pulling them right over, I figure if they are they old ones they are gonna stay loose and if they are the improved ones I'll be ok...happy to report they are tight and great!

I bought a couple on sale, the fluo yellow and fluo blue.Im 5'8 145 and wear a large, its snug but not race tight. I use these when i go on my big rides on the roads with a lot of hills. They are light and breath well.....zippers works flawlessly and easily.Rear pocket stay good when filled and can access them with no problem, there height is perfect. Most importantly your going to be seen, I don't care as much on dedicated greenways but when on busy roads doing distance I want to stand out! These do it with style. I'm kinda a gear head and love trying stuff from different companies. I tried them all including Rapha Assos etc. Giordana is still one of my go to's and the Silverline line is my favorite, love their silverline bibs as well, I'll reach for them for the long rides before the Assos.

These are rated for 40-60 and I would agree they work well in those ranges. The reason I chose these is because they have no gel inserts and touchscreen compatibility. After riding the summer with no gloves on some nice cushy bar tape I came to realize my gloves were the reason for my hands numbing. The gel was putting pressure on the nerve. Anyway these are great (not always a fan of Izumi's look) and perform well. I had them on today 45 degrees and hands were fine. Wore them down to 38F a lil chilly at start but fine for the rest of ride..I LOVE these!!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Im 5'8 150 lbs and a large is a perfect fit. Im not stretching it closed but have just enough room for a couple compression layers.I wore this the first time today. It was dreary gray 48 F with sustained 24 MPH winds with a mist. I wore it over a short sleeve base and let me tell you it was perfect. Its a very quality piece.it also has a reinforced patch up at the top of the collar to bite to help with unzipping. I only wish they would include zipper pulls. Other than that they make some great middle of the road stuff that attractive.Did i mention thats its like a jersey? its real light and I think its gonna become a staple of the winter kit.
