I used this jacket today. Iâm impressed. It was mid 30s and windy. The wind chill was probably quite low. I wore an Odlo warm baselayer with the jacket, but thatâs it. The material wicked moisture so quickly that my phone in the back exterior pocket was covered in condensation where the moist came out of the jacket and contacted the cold air. Never once did I feel sweaty. One downside to the wicking is that my back felt very cool, but not cold, as the moisture evaporated. Itâs a convertible jacket so it can be used as a vest, with really interesting âshort sleevesâ. Not waterproof but very water resistant. It was a little unexpected how really warm it is for the weight. Itâs a light jacket or a heavy jersey, depending on your outlook. Essentially, itâs three versatile top layers in one garment.
