Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Dry mountain air drives me crazy when I'm trying to trail run or Nordic ski, so this Camelbak is pretty much my constant companion when I'm running or skiing, year-round. It's lightweight, holds an impressive amount of water, and I appreciate the added visibility too. The zippered pocket in front is just big enough to squish a set of keys into, and I can always fit a phone and snacks in the main compartment. I've had a few issues with water leaking when I fill the bladder too much, but nothing consistent. I only took away a star because I wish Camelback added a waist buckle. I get around it by just tying the lower straps around my waist to get weight off my shoulders, so it's really not a big deal, but it would be a good update.
