Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these beauts because they seemed like a moto pant in short form. And I was not disappointed. They feel nice, fit exactly as I expected them to (which is about knee length). They are comfortable, yet not flimsy. I have crashed in them they kept me from getting scraped up. There is a pocket (about the size of an iphone) to keep anything small in. The colors are vibrant and look even more awesome in person than they do in pictures. I guess what I am saying is that this is a great short for the (on-sale) price. Bangarang.

I had the Camelbak Eddy and it got the job done. The bit valve sometimes didn't have quite the flow/water delivery I was hoping for after a run or climb on the mountain bike. Fortunately, I lost it in an airport and so I replaced it with the Chute. This bottle is awesome. Obviously the actual body is just a bottle that holds water. Nothing special. But the lid is the biggest difference. I can get more water when drinking. I haven't cleaned it yet but I can already tell it's gonna easier. No taking anything apart. The lid seals well. My Eddy started leaking after a bit, so we will see if that happens with this one, but it seems sturdier. The cap locking feature is definitely not the most simple to lock in, but I usually just use my index finger to hold it out of the way anyways. Locking it in just can be a bit stiff to slide in. That or you can hook one side under and then pop the other under. Either way, not a big deal for me. Has both oz and ml measurements on the side. I recommend this bottle.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I used this water bottle for months until I eventually lost it in an airport. While I loved this bottle while I had it I am probably going to branch out and look for a different replacement. The bottle itself was tough as nails and I loved that. The bite valve is the Camelbak style, so it seals nicely when not in use. The downside is that it's got a lot of small cracks and whatnot to clean. If all you ever use is water and you never go long periods without using it, then you won't have anything to worry about. It also fits in MOST cup holders, but not all. The clip is extremely convenient if you live that 'biner life.

I. Love. These. Shoes. Easily my favorite shoes I've ever ridden in (I'm not a clip guy). The Stealth rubber on these guys will grip pedals like nobody's business. My first time riding in them I wheelied over and landed on my back because they gripped the pedals so much more than my last shoes that I couldn't jump off. Unreal. I also wore these shoes as regular shoes all around Europe (7ish miles/day) and had 0 complaints at all. You can hike, bike, walk, run and pretty much anything else in these. I'm considering buying another pair just to have for when mine are dead and gone (which, at this rate, will take a while). The only complaint I have at all is that dirt/twigs can get in while I'm riding more than I like, but that's pretty typical of all shoes. Runs like a half size big.
