Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are really light and cool looking skewers, but they just don’t work very well on my Ti road bike frame. My rear wheel slipped a few times while climbing, fortunately not enough to stop me completely.
No matter how hard I tightened these, they just didn’t grip well enough. The levers are very small, and external cam skewers don’t provide as much leverage as the heavier internal cam designs, so I went back to my standard Campy skewers. They’re much heavier, but I’ve never had one slip or fail in many years of riding.
Other frames may not have this issue, it may be that my Ti frame doesn’t allow enough “bite” for these skewers to hold, but saving a few grams isn’t worth risking a crash.

Typical Castelli quality, and at a decent price. The collar zipper design is a bit weird, but overall a really nice jersey, and a slightly more relaxed fit than Castelli’s full race jerseys. A size large is a good fit, I have a few Castelli climber’s jerseys that are snug in the XL size.
So, these jerseys run a bit small, not ridiculously small like some Castelli items.

Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The first time I tried these on the stitching came undone at the ankle band. Size was correct, but the very tight ankle band needs reinforcing.
CC made returning these warmers fast and easy.
I’ve always had good luck with Garneau, so maybe I just got a defective pair.

This is advertised as a summer weight jersey, but it uses fabric across the shoulders and the top of the back that's not breathable at all, and there's also a wide strip of the same fabric running down the center of the back.
The jersey is also very short, especially at the waist in front. I'm only 5' 10" and a large is too short in front.

I have a number of Castelli jerseys, and all are very high quality with a great fit.
The Unavolta is a lightweight wool blend jersey, best suited to warmer spring rides.
Most Castelli jerseys run a size small, but the Unavolta appears to be more true to size, I ordered the XL expecting a snug fit, but it's more of a club fit, which allows use of a base layer underneath.
The wool blend fabric is super smooth and very comfortable on the road.
Highly recommended.

I bought these skewers to replace the stock Mavic Ksyrium skewers that came with my wheels. Instead of the heavy, clunky plastic Mavic skewers, I now have sleek, lightweight skewers that function perfectly, and complement my vintage Merckx Ti frame.
It's hard to see in the photo, but these skewers have an anodized aluminum finish that's similar to a natural Ti finish, a bright gunmetal grey.
Weight was spot-on at 55g a pair, versus 125g for the stock Mavics.
As for function, they open and close easily with a very solid feel, and the overall design is excellent.
I changed a rear flat today out on the road , no problem at all with the skewer.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used Giro Bravo gloves for a number of seasons, and they're comfortable, durable, washable, and decently priced.
Also, hi-vis yellow - a little added safety when signalling a turn or stop.
The moderate padding is perfect for me, not too thin, not too thick, and padded in the right places. Good bar feel, no globs of gel getting in the way.
Recommended, and they're machine washable - in the summer I send these through the wash after almost every ride - the gloves really hold up well.
Hang to dry - gloves don't like dryers.
I get two seasons out of two pair. They could probably last a bit longer, but at this price getting a new pair won't break the bank.

I've used the Giro Bravo fingerless for a few seasons, and I really like the fit and moderate padding. This is the full finger version, and it's a very similar design. Giro Bravo gloves are durable and comfortable.
Glove is good down to the mid-40 temperatures, I usually switch to a heavier glove or use a thin liner if it's much colder.
I just throw these in the wash when they get dirty or sweaty - Bravo gloves stand-up to multiple washings without any issues - I do put them in a separate small mesh laundry bag so the Velcro doesn't snag any other clothes.
Hang to dry - gloves don't like clothes dryers.
Recommended.

Maybe Castelli has a different definition of "seamless", but when a glove is constructed of two pieces of fabric that are sewn together, it's not a seamless glove!
Competitive Cyclist needs to correct the product description for this item.

I bought a pair of these fifteen years ago for my Merckx Titanium road bike. They look as good today as when I first installed them. Lightweight, durable, and inexpensive, these cages are just about perfect. They also don't mar water bottles like aluminum cages, and the stainless steel is basically indestructible.
The cages hold any water bottle very securely.
They're not carbon or titanium, so there's no bling factor, but if you want a high quality cage that will last forever you won't find a better choice.
