Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using Park Tool's tire levers and patches for years now. The levers have never broken, even with some seriously tight beads on tubeless road tires. Although technically the patches are designed simply to get you home so you can replace the tube, I've had tubes with patches from this kit last for 6 or more months (the puncture demons having been graciously and miraculously held at bay by the cycling gods) without losing air. I've had some tubes with up to three of these patches on it before needing to be replaced. They just work (and they'll save you a lot of money, too!).

I so wanted to keep the French-themed Pro Cap, but alas, the shape of the cap made my (admittedly large) head look funny. Other cycling caps I own don't have this problem. I think it has to do with the way the cap was constructed. The size wasn't the issue; it fit around my head just fine.

Oh well. Still looking for the perfect hat.

Your bottles won't fall out with these cages. They aren't the most stylish cages, and they certainly aren't going to impress your friends. But if you aren't too concerned about looking PRO, you'll still get the featherweight benefit that people pay tons more for carbon cages to get, and have money left over for gear that actually matters for performance.

These may not last as long as machined aluminum or carbon cages, but you can buy five of them for the price of one carbon cage, so you do the math.

Great value. Lots of colors to match your frame. No brainer.

This is my first Crank Brothers purchase, and I'm impressed by the quality of this product. The pump is lightweight and includes a bracket for attaching the pump beneath your water bottle cage so you never need to leave home without it. The red color doesn't quite match my bike's colorway, but that's a minor quibble.

The pump attaches to my Presta valves no problem. Due to its small size, pumping is a bit more difficult than with larger hand pumps. I'm not sure if I could actually pump a tire up to 130 PSI with this thing as per spec, but it will get you pumped again to rol home without too much trouble.

One caveat about pumping with this pump: because the pump head is attached to the pump shaft, I worry a bit about the torque I'm putting on the tube valve as I pump back and forth. I think that perhaps the design Lezyne uses (with a tube attachment between the shaft and the pump head) is a smarter one to prevent so much pressure being put on the valve as you pump the tire.

I ordered size medium, but alas, it was a more relaxed fit than what I was looking for. I like the classic look of the jersey, but I want something form fitting to provide me with more aerodynamic properties.

Additionally, I was a bit disappointed by the sublimated design. I think the quality isn't quite there with this particular jersey.

If you like a "club fit" jersey as opposed to a "race fit", these jerseys will likely appeal to you. They are inexpensive, so you can rock your favorite European country's colors with pride.

Next time, Gadget. Next time.

Shorter-torsoed women will be wise to pass on this product. It is high-quality, high-performance, with a great chamois. Unfortunately for my wife, the straps are too long even though the shorts part fits perfectly, and there is no way to adjust the straps without sewing them yourself (which is what she plans on doing).

My wife really loves this jersey. The diva pink colorway is nice and bright, and features fast-looking graphic details. The fabric is stretchy and accommodating, yet form fitting. One quibble about the jersey: my wife wishes that the back of the jersey were a bit longer; the jersey tends to ride up a bit, and has no gel-gripper to hold it in place.

My wife is new to road cycling, and she really loves this jersey. It is form-fitting (no flapping around in the wind), and the stretchy fabric is comfortable and very lightweight. The colors are great. One thing she's noticed about this jersey is that she wishes it would extend a bit lower in the back because it rides up a bit, exposing her back (there's no gel gripper on the bottom).

I bought these shoes for my wife who just got her first road bike recently. She's a bit nervous about clipping into pedals, so she hasn't used these shoes yet, but she's tried them on and they fit really well. My wife plans on using the shoes first on the spin bikes at the gym to get used to clipping in and out, so SPD option was an essential feature of the shoes I chose for her. These fit the bill very well. Later when she grows accustomed to clipping in, we can switch her pedals out for SPD-SL, and these shoes will be compatible with those as well. Win win.
