Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I got a pair of these bibs for my son, and really like the overall construction and quality of material used in these shorts. Unfortunately I had to return them as they didn't quite fit my son. I purchased a size small as that is what he normally wears, as he is 5'9" and 135lbs, but the shoulders straps are really designed for someone around 5'6" and there was no way he'd be comfortable wearing them as they were stretched to the max.
Will update once I get some mediums for him, just hope they aren't too loose on the lower half.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been running ESI grips for years, and they are my go to grips for my bikes and my boys bikes. Every time I get to install a new set, I am reminded at how great they look, but just how happy I am to wrap my hands around them. I like how they offer three sizes, and I've used each and every one of them and will continue to do so for many years to come.
As for installation, just be liberal with the IPA and use gloves or a towel to assist slide them on.
Grab a pair or three and add some color to your bike and comfort for your hands.
Questions on ESI grips or other accessories, components please reach out.

This riser block from Cycleops is hands down my favorite block to use to help stabilize the bike, or add more resistance to my workout. I like how these blocks can be stacked to increase the resistance and change the complexity of the ride.
The three sides offer varying degrees of resistance, or you can add a second block to really make things interesting!
If you have questions on this block, trainers or other accessories, please feel free to reach out to me.

ENVE All Day!
5 5

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been riding these wheels for the past 6 months on my Santa Cruz Hightower, and could not be any happier!
The wheels have done everything I have asked of them, and have yet to flinch! I have used them when riding the lifts at Deer Valley and all-around XC riding. I keep them air up to 22-24lbs front and 24-25lbs in the rear, and no pinch flats, no rim dings, or burps after a full-season of riding.
The only issue I had was the rim tape pre-installed from ENVE wasn't allowing the tire to maintain air pressure. I ended having to rip off that tape and replace it with some Stan's tape to seal the rim. Aside from that the wheels have performed better than any expectations I had of them.
If you are looking to make a change, look at installing a set of ENVE wheels and changing the ride for the better!
Please reach out with any questions you have about any ENVE products.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

Recently upgraded one of my bikes from Shimano 6800 to the new R8000 group and couldn't be any happier! The upgrades to the cranks, derailleurs, brakes and shifters have made this one worthwhile upgrade.
I have been amazed at the crispness of the shifting performance with the new derailleurs and shifters, and it reminds me of the smoothness of the "older" Dura Ace 7800, but much more refined in how quickly it shifts.
If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

These new shifters have such a lighter action and feel more like the original Shimano Dura Ace 7800 series shifters. The kit does include both brake and shifter cable sets.

Picked this up to convert my Shimano 10-speed freehub body to 11-speed and it works just like it is intended to do. If you're doing an upgrade with your drivetrain and love your wheels, this is the answer you need for your DT 180, 240 or 360 hubs.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been using Kinetic trainers for quite a few years, and now with the added benefit of training the "smart" way is a great addition to one of the best fluid trainers available!
The ability to use the inRide sensor and app on any preferred mobile device takes training to the next level with additions of power, cadence and heart rate measurements.
While power measurements may not be as accurate as a crank based system, it does give a great baseline to train from. I have been using the app on my iOS device and the only issue I have seen is with the cadence. It doesn't hold steady and seems to jump around by up to 5 RPMs.
The build quality of the chassis is exceptional and provides plenty of support when out of the saddle. While it doesn't allow the bike to sway naturally as when out on the road, it does a great job of giving the rider confidence to push larger gears. The fluid inside has a completely different feels as compared to other brands, and is more consistent across the power curve.
All things considered this is a great trainer that will allow all riders of all abilities to train indoors and maximize the time spent on the saddle. I would highly recommend this trainer to anyone in the market.
If you have questions about Kinetic trainers or others, please reach out.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been using this trainer for the past few years and every time I pull it out and get ready for winter riding, it has never let me down.
I have used plenty of trainers over the years from Tacx, Elite, Wahoo and Kinetic and they all have a purpose. I will discuss the Cycleops here, but if you do have questions on other trainers, please reach out to me.
As stated, every time I pull this out of storage it is ready to go, even if I am not ready for spinning indoors. I always find it helpful to watch something on t.v whether it is sports related, a movie or on some other platform. I find that this trainer as compared to others is best used while seated and spinning. While the fluid will create added resistance when pushing a larger gear out of the saddle, it just doesn't feel right. For this reason, I love using this trainer when I plan on doing higher cadence intervals while seated, or low cadence out of the saddle. This doesn't have the heaviest flywheel out there for fluid trainers, but the fins do add a little more resistance to the ride. Downside is that the fins also create a bit more noise while riding. This could be a problem if riding with neighbors below as the reverb will be passed along to them (something to keep in mind).
All things considered this is a great trainer that will meet the needs of the majority of us looking to keep conditioned throughout winter, or the ability to jump on for an hour out of the day, when riding outside ins't an option.
Please reach out with any questions you may have about this trainer or others.

Perfect Hardtail Companion

I was a little bit skeptical about the claimed "absorption" of this post, but it did not disappoint me!
Out of the package you can tell that the quality of this post is up to any carbon post on the market. I paired this post of with an Selle SMP Dynamic saddle and the body appreciates the added comfort from both saddle and post.
I would highly recommend this post to anyone doing some gravel riding, to XC riding.
If you have questions about this post or other brands feel free to reach out to me.

The moment you pull this helmet out of the box, you see and feel the quality that Kask has put into it. The overall quality is superb, and the weight is quite minimal.
I primarily use this for the road, and it has worked out great! I decided to try it on a recent mountain bike ride and it did well on the flats and climbs, but going down hill something changed and I had this pain digging in on the back off my head where it grips and keeps the helmet in position. I eventually had to stop and see what was going on, and couldn't do anything other then open up the dial for the remainder of the descent. If you're buying this for the road it performed flawlessly, and on the mountain, I will actually stick with the helmet that has been my normal go-to.
Questions about Kask or other helmets, please reach out.

Happiness all over again!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The quest to find the right saddle that works for each of us is a challenge that none enjoy doing and once that unicorn has been found, it is hard to look again.
This is my unicorn, the one that works well for myself and my son. I have been riding bikes for 25+ years and I feel this is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden or raced on. When you sit on this saddle you feel your self sit down inside of it, and not riding on top of a padded shell (like other saddles). Not only does the sitting inside the saddle add comfort, but it also makes me feel more in-tune with the bike and what is going on. To make sure I wasn't imagining things, I went back to another saddle I have like on another bike, and there isn't any comparison between that saddle and this SMP Dynamic! The leather is top notch, the rails are replaceable, and the padding is just enough for me (a great pair of shorts is a must).
As time goes, I will need to pick up a few more and keep them in the ready for when it's time to replace.
If you have questions about SMP saddles or others, please reach out.

What else can you ask for with regards to forks today? This fork rocks right out of the box and on the trail. The first thing I noticed is the impeccable ability of this fork on soaking up the small stuff and braking under pressure. This thing just chews up braking bumps coming into corners, and has no difficulty handling larger bumps as well. The fork took everything that I threw at it and simply looked back and smiled. While initially debated on going with a SID on this bike build, I decided that the weight savings isn't worth it for me as my hardcore racing days are behind me, and I love the climb, but still love the DH portion.
I highly recommend this fork and don't even think twice about it being the right one. Grab it, install it, and thank me later!
Questions about Rockshox or other forks, please reach out to me.

I picked this set up for my sons road bike, so he can train indoors with his Garmin and also learn to spin at different cadences. Easily paired up with the Garmin 520 head unit and has worked great with no issues. If you have any questions about Garmin product or other gear, feel free to reach out to me.

I have been using Garmin product for many years, and realized that my son can benefit from using a HR monitor till I get a powermeter for him, I turned to the HR monitor that has worked well for me.
This one stays in place and I have yet to experience any drops. I have had some interference when riding under major power lines, but otherwise it does a great job paired with my Garmin 820 and 520.
If you have any questions about Garmin product feel free to reach out to me.

Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I was excited to get this and install it on the bike. My gripe is the location, as the head unit is really not in an ideal location for my liking. Since this one didn't end up meeting my expectations, I thought I would try another one that moves the head unit to a better location and haven't looked back. This may work for some, but it didn't work out as I had hoped.
Any questions about K-Edge, or GPS units, please feel free to reach out to me.
