Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have made different variations of this cookie and absolutely love it. As an avid baker and cooker (if that is even the appropriate word) I typically prefer to cook fully from "Skratch," but like many, there is always the convenience if I can have it. This allows for the convenience of baking up an 18 serving batch of full on yummy-ness that I can share with my team, or maybe not share with anyone. These are extremely easy to make, very moist and don't dry out, and easy on my tummy to digest when I ride. I always prefer to make my own food for rides (sweet potato pancakes, rice cakes, etc.) and this really is a speedy time-saver. I love the fact that it allows for full customization, unlike the bars that I could buy pre-packaged. This is the perfect balance between cooking fully from "Skratch" and opting for the easy out of a bar that has a 5 year shelf life...I don't quite know if I want something in my stomach that I would put in my under-ground bomb shelter pantry.

Ultimately, this is giving permission to eat a cookie - and why not? We need the calories and sugars when we are working out - but what about when you're not working out? Well, then it's just a really nice treat!

I have become obsessed with this. I primarily use it in my smoothies after rides and it offers a great consistency and I enjoy the Vanilla flavor a lot. This doesn't destroy my stomach after a hard ride like some protein/recovery mixes do, and I feel awesome when my next ride comes around. I highly recommend it.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I recently got the rear light and it has been awesome. It is easily to turn on and off while riding, and also very easy to remove from my seatpost to a backpack. I like it for my evening commutes to the store or the bar, but it also is great for those foggy gloomy training days in the mountains. It keeps me visible and gives me great piece of mind.

The Evoc FR Lite Protector Hydration Pack is so multi-use I can't even handle it. Take it out riding when you are doing some rad enduro ripping. It has a an awesome light weight back protector that offers a little more security and protection should the unthinkable happen. It also can accommodate a hydration pack if you are going to be out for awhile. I love the straps, they are absolutely comfortable and offer great support. Also, I am about 5'4", 125 pounds, 130 pounds on the weekdays or after I feast a bit. I chose the size small and it fits awesome.

The best part about the pack was being able to remove the back protector and traveling with it while I flew out to races. It had a few compartments internally and external to keep a few things organized. It wasn't meant for ultra-organization so make sure you bring a few Zip-Lock baggies to help out. I also used additional straps to hold my POC Octal helmet on. This thing is rad.

I am completely ga-ga for these shoes. Long story short, I have raced them in cyclocross, ridden them in the mud, the dust, and on the road. The fit is true to size, as I wear a 41 and that holds true for 80% of my shoes. I love the wire technology, they are extremely comfortable, clean up from mud rather nicely, and in my opinion, hold true to SIDI's reputation of quality.

Poctal!!

All I can say is, if I ever need to wear a helmet other than POC, it will be an honest struggle. I have used Giro, Louis Garneau, Bell, Catlike, etc. First, knowing that they have a great record of protecting my brain is very intriguing. I have had my fair share of crashes in racing so that is numero uno priority. Second priority, aesthetics. I think this helmet looks darn good. Third priority, comfort. It is incredibly light weight, fits in all the right places with no strange pressure points on my forehead. I also am pleased that my Oakley Radars fit snug and comfortably with the shape of the helmet. There are a couple ways to adjust the helmet to fit just right, and I do feel like it runs bigger than some helmets I have worn in the past. But ultimately, not too far off.

You will not regret this one.
